Kirsie's Beautiful Baby Bump

I had so much fun doing this session with Kirsie and her family.  I can't believe that she is 30+ weeks along and her belly is barely a bump!  I had to ask her too push it out a few times so she looked more pregnant. 

We started out with some family shots which were funny because Jaxton kept being weird and then I realized he just wanted the spotlight. 

So... I sat him on the stool by himself and he just started smiling and soaking up the spotlight.

This is one of my favorites.

That's right... she is jumping like a pro!  She has one of the best jumping faces I've photographed.

This tree was such a happy accident.  After we were done shooting in the big metal tube I spotted this tree on the way to the car.  The branches were the perfect height and the light was amazing!  No one would ever know there is a ugly industrial area in the back round. 

Kirsie saw an idea on pinterest with a bump sign similar to this.  I couldn't think of anywhere in town where there is a permanent bump sign but a few days before the shoot I spotted one in a construction area.  Success! 

Baby Nathaniel

Nathaniel Henry Wiebe... this client was very funny.  He really enjoyed laying in the large bowl his mommy had for the pictures, but he was not fond of the hockey puck that we tried to pose with him. This little man was born on February 29th Leap Day!  He was a whopping 9lbs 12 oz and 21.5"! His incredible mom had him at home.  He was a trooper as we made multiple outfit changes and locations, with a few feedings thrown in there. 

His dad is from Canada and loves the Winnipeg Jets... they conveniently have a Winnipeg Jets logo painted on their wall : )

Now for a fun blast from the past... I had the opportunity to photograph Nathaniel's big sister Ella when she was a baby too!  Their mommy asked me to do a few similar pictures to compare them.  

This one is funny to me because Nathaniel is lounging like such a dude and Ella looks oh so sweet and girly. 

I think it's hilarious how similarly they have their leg lifted!
