Ryanne's Underwater Maternity Session

Ryanne is one of my good friends who took a dive for this maternity session.  This was a first for me and soo much fun!
These photos were taken in a club house pool with a waterproof Pentax point and shoot camera that I borrowed from my sister.  Sometimes you have to take a chance and try something new and even though you might not have top of the line equipment for your situation you can still capture a moment.  We laughed so much during this session.  She was diving and swimming and everything in between for us to capture these moments.  We only came away with a few amazing images but they were totally worth it.

This is by far my favorite! LOVE!

Shantell & Clancy

Shantell and Clancy were one of the best couples I have ever photographed.  They have been married for a few years and you can truly see their deep love for one another.  They were so easy to photograph because they enjoyed being together and I happened to be there to capture it with a camera.  They were also TONS of fun and willing to try anything.
I'm really excited to share these images of two great people... who happen to be crazy in love.

*The city put these flags up for Veteran's Day, I was soo excited they were still up for this session*

Melissa's Brave Bikini Maternity Shoot

I always love doing maternity sessions but this one was sooo much fun! Melissa had gone on a trip with her family to the lake and had seen some pictures of herself pregnant in her bikini, she thought they looked pretty cute.  So... she gave me her idea to do a session out at the lake in her bikini!! I was so excited to do something fun and different... most people don't want to be photographed in a bikini let alone pregnant.  She was brave and I was ready to capture the moment.

When we got to the lake the wind was blowing like crazy and the water was cold.  Melissa is an awesome model though and she gave me so much to work with.  She is always so relaxed and care free when I photograph her, I think she really trusts me.

One of the benefits of the wind was the way it created such amazing waves and how it played with her hair.

I love Toa's (the dog) pose in this one.
